Parra Nieto Abogados SAS Founding Partner in 2011. Today at Parra González Abogados SAS, in his capacity as Of Counsel, he leads the litigations and conflict resolution department. Over 30 years of experience in litigations related to declaratory and executive processes and popular and group actions. Has acted as attorney in national and international processes related to contractual and extracontractual liability issues.

Arbitrator from the Bogotá and the Medellin Chamber of Commerce Arbitration and Conciliation Centers, having acted as international arbitrator. Has acted as internal lawyer for Citibank; was also Banco Colpatria’s General Secretary and Legal Vice President. Member of the Colombian Stock Exchange Disciplinary Courts and of the Securities Market Self Regulating Entity. Co-Judge of the Constitutional Court between 2007 and 2009. Has acted as a consultant in concession agreements executed as public-private associations, known as “4G”. Currently a friendly settler in various road infrastructure concessions.

Emeritus Professor from Universidad Externado de Colombia, for which he was General Secretary for over 14 years and currently its Rector for the period 2021-2027.
