Parra González Abogados Senior Lawyer focused on legal assistance to public and private companies regarding administrative law and corporate law issues. Experienced in constitutional actions, especially in writs for the protection of constitutional rights and in popular actions, as well as in administrative conciliation processes, sanctioning administrative processes, and disciplinary processes before public entities and professional schools. Has participated in the defense of natural and legal persons before the Comptroller General’s Office and territorial comptroller’s offices in fiscal liability processes. Has provided legal assistance in processes before the contentious-administrative jurisdiction.

 

His advisory activities include the provision of consultancy services in state asset management issues and in norm compliance issues for entities subject to the Colombian Financial Superintendence’s surveillance, additionally having participated in the opening of representation offices for important foreign financial entities, which he advises regarding issues before the regulating entity. Has acted as legal advisor for nonprofit organizations.

 

Has been an ad-hoc secretary in friendly settlement procedures considered in concession agreements executed under the public-private association mode – also known as “4G” – before the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce in order to resolve controversies arising among the concession holders and the National Infrastructure Agency. Has participated in national arbitration processes.

 

His activities in the corporate law area have been focused on the restructuring of society entities and providing assistance to companies from the construction sector in their contractual issues for alternate solution of conflicts. Has also participated in due diligence processes in labor issues for legal persons, which he has also advised regarding pension and legal risk prevention issues.
